misogyny, eugenics, colonial repression, crony capitalism, bigotry, homophobia, political polarization, sexual abuse, economic exploitation, institutional rot, pestilence, xenophobia, geopolitical strife, religious fanaticism, sectarian violence, and yawning income inequality.
They've been set in
5000, 2500, 1300, 800, and 330 B.C.,
and
33, 451, 1206, 1619, 1866, 1899, 1925, 1969, 1991, 2015, and 2148 A.D.
We monkeys are nothing
if not
predictable.
